In the Beginning...

There was a Perler Bead spriting newb. Her name was Geek-Mythology, sometimes Vilsy, always perplexed and befuddled.

Actually it's not so bad. I have found the joys of creating video game sprites from Perler fuse beads, and am having a jolly good time so far. I've been at it for about a week and I'm pretty hooked. It has been a nice break from my normal digital drawing.

Here are my first attempts at the craft. Gau from Final Fantasy VI looking as though he's found a fire hydrant was my first. Weird choice I suppose. The others are hopefully recognizable! More on the way as I spiral into bead oblivion.
