Well, here she is, Miss Tinkerbell. A Christmas gift for my boyfriend's mom, and my first completed mini-Munny
Her hair was sculpted with Super Sculpey and painted, along with her body, with Acrylics. There's a green ribbon in her hair and her wings were salvaged from a dragonfly plushie. Her facial features are detailed with black Prisma Color paint marker. I had to mount her to a base because, despite being filled with tin foil, her darn bun was too heavy for her body.
I'm proud of her but admittedly also not-so-proud, because as I had a deadline with her, I might have had to "hurry" a "little bit". (Don't tell mom.) But I did learn from the mistakes I made with the Super Sculpey and the paint, and everything else. So I will keep trying because it was very enjoyable to see a finished product.
Next up is Aero the Acrobat who I've been working on intermittently for the past few months.
